WORKSHOPS
Here's just some of the things you will learn during my beginner course: Airbrush Control, Using Sheilds & Templates, Masking, Learning about your tools, Cleaning and Maintenance of your equipment, Materials and their uses.
LOCATION: Pitt Meadows Airport
The Fire Workshop - This workshop is designed to teach one of today's industry leaders, the real fire and blue fire technique. You will also learn traditional flame layouts, pinstriping, design transfers and a wide array of various techniques and textures.
The Metal Workshop - This class is designed to tackle one of the biggest secrets in custom airbrushing today, rendering metal and all its aspects. You will also learn the importance of shading and light source to give designs a full 3D effect, and how to use textures and fabrics to complete your projects.
The Tiki Workshop - This class is designed to teach some of the more organic effects that are used in custom painting today. Throughout the 2 day course you will work on rendering wood grain, granite, flowers, clouds and lava. We will also demonstrate various methods on how to transfer your image onto the surface you are about to paint.
The Portrait Workshop - This class is designed to take you into the exciting world of painting portraits, and understanding how light source is a vital component to making portraits come to life. We will be working on freehand techniques and teach the difference between opaques and transparents and the importance of each in custom painting.
Workshops are 2 days and run from 9am - 3pm (includes one hour for lunch). Niosh respirator masks are required. They are available for rent for $20.00 or purchase for $75.00. Please feel free to bring your own mask if you have one.
